Trauma-Informed Education on How to Work with Emotions in the Mind and Body to Increase Your Emotional Health
Armed with the information taught in this course, we hopefully continue a lifelong practice of looking inward to make sense of our internal experiences.

About the Classes:
Art Classes will explore the beauty of color and texture through hands on activities and simple ways to focus on the present moment
Movement Classes will explore locomotor and non-locomotor, full body and body parts, space, time and energy to be more present in the now and bring quick relief to stressful times
Vocal Classes with Rebecca Mackin will teach vocal toning and how to use your voice to reduce tension in your body along with other music and personal expression skills
What supplies will you need?
Art Class:
A desk or table to work on
Desk lamp
Table cloth
Lemons, apples, oranges, onions
Water jar
Napkins and paper towels
Watercolour set
Quality brushes
Quality soft pencils
Soft gum or grey kneaded eraser
Printed image selections that will be sent to you before class to print
Heavy watercolor or mixed media paper
Black Sharpie: fine and bold point
Chalk Pastels
Movement:
a 7ft by 10ft area for movement
comfortable clothing (no jeans, skirts or dresses)
bare feet or socks (no shoes)
water for drinking
Vocal:
a straw
paper
a pen
Optional Supplies for Stress Relief:
